Should we Cluster Tables?

We have a couple of large tables ( 500000 & 1000000 records ) that are frequently joined for large reports and queries. There is also quite a bit of activity ( insert, update - no deletes ) within the most recent 1000 records at any time. We are adding about 10000 to 20000 records a day to these tables.

They are not currently clustered.

Should we consider clustering these tables? we have no past experience with clusters - documentation is very slight, and the only reference we found in an oracle FAQ was that it's really not worth the trouble.

Any recommendations, horror stories, references, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
