Looking for a senior software engineers to work on a Lotus Notes competitor (product will go production end of this year). Product is being built on top of a relational database: Unix servers, Microsoft Windows clients. Team is looking for senior engineers to work on the backend part of the project, specifically dealing with replication issues. People who have built applications on top of relational databases would be ideal. This is a very talented team (backend team is currently 5 people). The product is essentially a unified group communication and document management environment that improves enterprise collaboration and communcation by letting users organize, share, and retrieve document-bases information (text, rich text, graphics, bitmap images, sound, video, etc.) The system tracks "coversation threads" providing bulletin-board style communication. Salary very very open; relocation to California/SF Bay area taken care of.
