I've gotten in to the habit of just Loading the .inp file
and relying on generating to write a new .inp. Loading takes
a fraction of the time Openning from the database takes.

Just a note: The CDE tools only run against Oracle 7
databases. Oracle 7 does not run on MS-DOS. If you
want to do CDE development (Forms 4, Reports 2, etc.)
you'll most likely want to switch to OS/2 or SCO
         Unix.

Agreed. When you start seeing a block of Hex digits
in the upper left hand corner of the screen, it's
             lights out! :(
