importing table w/o erasing

Hi folks,

Does anyone know if there is a way to get the import utility to import data into a table without erasing the current contents of the table? The only way I can think of doing this right now is to import into a completely different table and write a routine to read each row and add it into the old table, then dropping the new, temporary table.

Is there an easier way of doing this?
