Forms 3.0

Are there any ways with Forms 3.0 (and Oracle 6 running on UNIX) to easily handle textual information? I certainly want to avoid using columns like line_1, line_2, line_3, etc to display multiline text. I need to enter and display significant amounts of textual information via Forms 3.0.
