I tried Oracle 6.0 and Access 1.1 briefly. I hope this helps:

First of all, it's very slow for large db's. It's not practical for the large types of db's that most people use on a powerful program like Oracle. However, Access is much easier to use due to its GUI, so perhaps the speed penalty is acceptable.

You do need the Oracle SQL and FTP files along with the ODBC drivers from Microsoft, available with the 1.1 release, as far as I can remember. Received on Tue Nov 02 1993 - 01:41:08 CET
