Oh ye of little faith.
The major new features of Oracle CASE Dictionary 5.1 are (very briefly):
- Client-Server application design, generation and regeneration
- Distributed Database design, generation and regeneration
- ORACLE7 support (eg stored procedures, functions, database triggers, snapshots, etc.)
- Generation, regeneration and reverse engineering of ORACLE7 server designs
- Database design to entity-relationship model retrofit utility
- A PL/SQL API (initially supporting analysis objects only)
- Graphical user interface (built using Oracle Forms 4)
- New Document element
- New reports eg Application Metrics (using Function Point Analysis), Application Version Comparisons.
