We are having problems with pro*c not freeing memory when a cursor is closed. Our executables grow in size until they disconnect from the database, at which time the memory does get freed.

We are running:

	plat: Sun/4
        os: 4.1.x
	rdbms: 6.0.36.4
	pro*c: 1.4.8.2.2

Does anybody recognize this problem? Do I need to set something special for the new pro*c? hold_cursor=no + release_cursor=yes appear to have no affect.

regards,

 -jean
