Don't use Filemaker Pro!!!! That would be a kludge. There are much better solutions. The one you need to check out is DataEdit by Brio Systems. It was at the Coda conference and DB Expo last week. It will release this month. It looks a quick and dirty forms development app that will hook into Oracle or other RDBMS through DAL or SQL*NET or whatever. runtime modules are only $200. It looks VERY nice! and designed to work with something like Oracle.

While Filemaker is a great secretary mail list tool, it is NOT designed to be a front end to a HOST database.
