HELP!!!SQLLOAD

I just tried using sqlload and I used it in this manner:
sqlload userid=acct_name/password control=file_name.ctl
and I got the following error messages:
SQL*Loader: Version 1.0.27.0.1 - Production on Sun Apr 18 19:21:23 1993

I used the sqlload two weeks ago, and it worked then.
Did I do something wrong?
I tried adding data=data_file.data
but I still got the same error messages.
