Hello again. Anyone out there use the Q+E program that comes with MS Excel 4.0 on Windows? I have Oracle 6.0xx on a PC with Windows 3.1 and Excel 4.0. The Q+E documentation says you can connect to an Oracle database but it does not give directions on how to do this! The help screen in Q+E says to refer to the appendix of the manual corresponding to the DB software you have. Very frustrating.

Could it be you can only do this kind of thing over SQL*Net?

If this works, a little macro programming could go a long way towards providing a cheap familiar database interface for Excel users.

Many thanks,
