WHich ver of Nowell?

Dear Netters:
We are planning to design a system that needs a DBMS in a networked environment
(probably Novell Netware) but are uncertain about which version of Netware to
use.
It seems that the 3.x version is not yet supported by certain DBMS systems which
only work with 2.2 in a NETWORKED environment. Could someone clarify this?
I would certainly appreciate if the response also contains a list of DBMS
(more specifically ORACLE) systems that run under Nowell Netware (WITH THE
VERSION(s) of Netware SPECIFIED). Any pointers (what so ever) will be highly
appreciated.
