nested set functions

I posted this to comp.databases without getting a reply: The SQL standard says that you cannot nest set functions. Oracle does permit set functions to be nested.
- Does *anyone* use this feature?
- If so, would you mind posting some examples?
- Do you think Oracle has implemented this extension in an intuitive manner?
- Do any other databases support this extension, and if so, do they support it in the same way as Oracle?
