Data Architect -Health Care – MN
Job Responsibilities Include: Must Provider Data - Health Care • The Data Architect supports the technical design and development of business data strategies and initiatives consulting with Business Stakeholders, Data Integration (ETL) and Application Integration (EAI). The Data Architect assists in

o       The development and implementation of a long term data architecture roadmap for the enterprise and business segments at Medica that balances short-term versus long-term actions and strategic versus tactical requirements.
o       Driving the technology direction and architectural approach based upon his/her understanding of business data and the technical environment (possibilities as well as constraints).
o       Advising the IT Department as an expert in Information Management. Duties include architecting database systems and interfaces for EAI, assisting in the evaluation and recommendation of data solutions, and development of strategies to migrate legacy applications.
•       
o       Experience in data analysis, data profiling, data integration, and data quality.
o       Extensive experience in creating data warehouses, data marts, and operational system databases.
o       Advanced knowledge of SQL, database performance, RDBMS, and Query tools. Database tuning is a plus.
o       Prior experience in ETL, reporting and analytics, and business intelligence tools is preferred
o       Prior experience in health care domain is preferred.
