There is lots of encryption software out there. Just google it or so. What you really use depends on several factors, like if you are prepared to pay for it or not, what level of security you want to achieve and so on...

[Quoted] PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) might be something you could start out with. Some development environments like Visual Studio.NET even come with encryption algorithms. But of course this whole issue is off topic for an Oracle related new group...
