Problem in iOrganizer Forms demo

Has anyone encountered the warning message "This application does only run in the american environment. Please change the territory in the NLS setting to 'america' "

... when setting up the iOrganizer demo?

It aborts the demo but what is the cure? Not many sources of info on what needs changing to get around this. Not an Oracle expert so kindly "spell it out" if possible.
