Default Password Oracle Clients

Hello,

I just installed Oracle Clients on my PC and wanted to play around with the SQLs but couldn't login in. I installed using the default settings and I'm told the username and password by default is system/manager or sys/change_on_install. I've not successfully login and would be very grateful if one of you gurus will reply.
