the default property of block level of updation
is 


Update Changed Columns Only property=NO


it means when u will update only one field in form. 
and  oracle will update all column of table
ALSO UPDATE PRIMARY KEY (OH NOOOOOOOOOOO)

IT MEANS IT WILL LOCK ON CHILD TABLES ;


IS THIS BEHAIVOUR IS OK IN LARGE APPLICATION???????????????
