Access and datatypes is a nightmare.

I did a migration from Access 2000/MS SQL Server to Oracle 8i in the past. Because of similar problems I exported SQL statements from SQL Server and edited the statements by search and replace to run that script against sqlplus. Data was migrated by an csv export and import. Therefore I used an selfmade program. I think you should look at Oracle SQL Loader. You can script a data import with it.
