Oracle Reports - exporting flat file?

New to Oracle Reports and seems i am missing something. Can't find a way to send data to a file (or even screen) without page formatting (form feeds.) Seems like a standard type (or destination) of a report would be a data extraction delimited file. Perhaps not.

Tried setting page length real long, but max size is not long enough. Wondering if there is a way to look at the finished report as a whole object which i can then parse and remove the line feeds. Couldn't find a way to just disable paging.

Prefer to do this in OR instead of external process since the report is embedded in a Java/C++ application.
