Forms 6i : Multiple Data Blocks based on Same Table

A coworker has coded this way with some mixed results. Some work, some don't. I've checked what scanty Forms books there are for any comment for or against doing this, but found nothing that addresses it.

Does anybody know absolutely if this is not a good thing to do?
