ldapmodify fails

Hi,
[Quoted] every time I try to connect my Oracle Internet Directory using the command
ldapmodify -h myHost -p 389 D "oracleadmin" -w "myPassword" -v -f /path/ldif_filename
the following error accours:
ldap_sasl_interactive_bind_s: No such attribute (16)
In the logfile appears the message:
2003/04/28:11:08:31sgslunrRead: Error while reading communication end
point (2)
There is no problem to log in the OID via oidadmin My System: Intel-machine, SuSE Linux 8.1, Oracle 9.2 with SP2
Who can help me?
