Hi!

[Quoted] Has anyone else experienced this problem?

Oracle 8i SQLPLUS 8 (on XP) Message nnn not found; product=Plus80; facility=SP2

nnn is 342, 343, or 316

The above message appears repeatedly while running PL/SQL scripts contained in a networked directory
from a Windows XP Professional client. The Oracle home appears to be correctly set, and all MSB files seen to be accessible. The only known difference between this user and other PCs that work correctly is that the SQL_PATH registry entry has the scripts (UNC) path reference appended

SQL_PATH is \\fileserver\volume\ORA6i\DBS;\\fileserver2\volume2\scriptpath

(1) Does anyone know where to find a list of messages by number?

(2) Is there a troubleshooting guide for remotely installed Oracle (
i.e. all files on the file server)

(3) When the ORACLE_HOME was set from a script to try to correct the
problem, a Forms 6.0 application appeared to lose track of its MSB file, and started displaying most of its messages in the same cryptic form.

Thanks for any help,
