The Netherlands – March 12, 2003, QA Systems today announced the integration of QStudio for Java Pro 1.8 – The Software Health Tool for Java - into Oracle9i JDeveloper offering Java developers the ability to significantly reduce code review effort by automating a major portion of the code inspection process, to detect software defects prior to compile time and to automatically assess the quality of the developed software. With this new extension based on the Oracle9i JDeveloper Extension SDK, the developer community reaps the benefits of automated software code quality control all within the Oracle9i JDeveloper Integrated Development Platform.

"We are extremely pleased to be able to extend Oracle9i JDeveloper's capabilities into the Automated Software Quality domain" said Roelof Vuurboom, Commercial Director QA Systems, "QStudio for Java is built on breakthrough QStudio technology that gives software developers the ability to automatically assess and control software quality concepts such as reliability, maintainability and efficiency. It also allows software process managers to tie software development quality control practices deeper and earlier into the software development process than previously possible."
