Discoverer with JDEdwards ODA

I am trying to set up Oracle Discoverer to work with the JDEdwards ODA (A odbc "layer" that has JDE security and business views). When I try and connect I am getting this error:

"An internal error has occured while attemping to perform this operation; the operation did not complete succesfully."

Has anyone had any success doing this?
