Failed SQL Backtrack errors

During a twice weekly backup of an 8i database in NOARCHIVELOG mode, I received the following immediately before the 'backup failed' status. Anyone seen this?

02:30:56.46 dtobackup[76012](336/dtobackup.C): stack trace

More context is available if necessary. This isn't the first time this backup schedule has run in with the same parameters. Perhaps this is a onetime anomaly? Any info is appreciated.
