HELP: context intermedia question

Hi,

I am planning to install Context InterMedia. I am using Oracle 8.1.7 Enterprise Edition. Do I need to buy license for Context?

I am planning to do exact, fuzzy, wildcards search on LOBs. Assuming I am talking about one column, do I create only one context index or do I need seperate index on same column for different functionalities?

Can I use context to create index on VARCHAR2? For example, search on %string in varchar2 will skip index and I am wondering if I can use context to resolve it.
