Forms Debugger freeze

I'm using Forms 6i on Oracle 8i and Oracle 7 (don't have the minor versions at hand right now).

With Oracle 7 everything works fine.

With Oracle 8 the form freezes at every call of a stored procedure when in debugging modus. It doesn't matter if it's a simple test function or a big one used in the production enviroment.

Unfortunately this effect isn't reproducable in the scott/tiger-schema. So it's pretty useless to start a metalink call.

Any idea what this could be?
