announcement.. Piper Version 3.24 (developers' sql & pl/sql free Windows front-end for Oracle 8x, 9x) with CLOBS-as-XML support is now available for free download at http://www.dbnet.com.au/piper

Latest features include:
- double-click on a CLOB to display it entirely in the built-in browser
window. New toolbar lets you choose to display CLOBs as XML, as HTML, or as Text.
- any CLOB displayed after double-click is automatically stored as a temp
file downloaded to your client machine.
- Catalog browser implemented internally using true recursive V8 OCIDescribe
calls, giving better detail and much faster performance
