Description: The new Product Manager will work in a cross-functional environment to drive product strategy and deliver high quality products that meet market needs (OLAP/BI).
Charter: 1) Lead and manage product line vision and creative process; 2) provide strategic insight into customer requirements; 3) translate requirements into a viable product development plan; 4) work closely with, and significantly influence, product development and release management teams; 5) contribute to the overall company product direction and innovative process.
Experience Profile:
· Strong hands-on technical experience a requirement.
· Candidate should have an understanding of the product development process.
Experience in introducing a product to market is a major plus.
· Strong background in OLAP and one or more of the following; data
warehousing, relational database and/or Analytical technology space
experience. Knowledge of XML, J2EE, .NET and Web technologies a plus.
· 7+ years experience with depth in enterprise software (preferably in a
product marketing, product mgt., pre-sales, solutions consulting or end-user
capacity)
· Demonstrated expertise in eBusiness/Internet technologies, solutions and
markets.
· Must have strong speaking, writing and presentation skills.
· Bachelor's degree in business, finance, computer science or equivalent
experience is required.
Location = Bay Area, CA.
