True, but the IMP method does make pretty hard work of some fairly important areas. For example, what if you wanted to re-create the public synonyms pointing into a single schema without actually re-importing the rest of the system accounts stuff. Or what if you [Quoted] wanted to change the tablespaces/storage clauses around in the target schema.
