Oracle ORA-01810, ORA-01812, ORA-01821

I got the above oracle errors sometimes when I run my program, which will call a store procedure. In the store procedure, the only part that is related to date is in the WHERE clause "where trunc(col_name) = trunc(sysdate) )". Is there any problem with this WHERE clause ?
