Hi
I really need a fast answer;
Am trying to access data on sql 7 server from oracle forms 6i; I installed the OCA and run the script of creating views for ALL_USERS,ALL_OBJECTS,ALL_TABLES,
ALL_VIEWS,ALL_SYNONYMS,ALL_TAB_COLUMNS,ALL_SOURCE,ALL_ERRORS,USER_USERS,    USER_SYNONYMS,ACCESSIBLE_COLUMNS,PRODUCT_USER_PROFILE. I got this script while installing the OCA. Now this script says that it s used for sql6.
The problem is that when i try to connect in the form builder (in the host i put the odbc:name of the odbc i created: database) it fires a real weird error without any number (just a backslash!!!!!); but i can do an explicit connection using exec_sql statements!!! same problem in sql plus but this time it says no interface driver! I really need to make a real connect from the forms builder not in the exe to make based tables block and create master detail blocks!!!! Please answer me as soon as possible; it s really an urgent case and it would be great if u can reply to my mail or to dolly_at_softwaredesign.com.lb
thanks a lot Received on Sat Oct 27 2001 - 21:32:35 CEST
