forms and a field that won't clear

[Quoted] 'clear_block' is suppose to clear all fields in a block - it doesn't. Setting the field to 'null' doesn't. In both cases the text in the field just gets hilighted. There are no triggers on the field. The proc that sets [Quoted] the field to 'null' also sets other fields to 'null', but those specified [Quoted] after the problem field do not get cleared. The properties for the problem [Quoted] field and others that do clear are identical, except for x,y positions and [Quoted] length and prompt info.
