oracle forms/asp question

Hi,
I just started a project in which I am required to integrate asp files with an oracle forms(6i) application. The oracle forms application has a login page that should allow the user to gain access to other forms including the asp forms. The problem I'm having is how do I pass the username and password from oracle to asp? Is it possible to save them as cookies?
