Hi All,

We are datamining people in biotechnology field. We have some in house c, c++ tools, which generates images and patterns out of data. We had a VC/MFC based client and we used these tools to create patterns out of the data. Now we are changing are architechture, and have decided to move to Java solutions, but still keeping the native code tools. My main concern is, i have to find some application server or third party utility or some code, with which i can interact with databses (oracle and sqlserver, probably through odbc or something) and keep the connections open and do caching and all that. Something like weblogic application server(but weblogic works only with beans and stuff). i was looking into toplink, but i guess that supports only java. Can you please let me know a best solution for our case.

The scoop, i need an application server or a database interface, which can talk to the c,c++ tools and the database and can keep the database connections open and do caching.

Please help me in this, as its very important for me to get this done asap.

i really appreciate all the help, in advance.
