How to fax from Oracle database?

Hi,
[Quoted] I'm looking for a simple method of faxing from an Oracle database server (8.1.7) without end user involvement i.e. when a procedure determines the [Quoted] need to send a fax it does it!
Any thoughts on tools and approaches?
