column/attribute names in Designer DDT

[Quoted] How do you control column names using Designer DDT? For instance, I have an [Quoted] attribute in the ERD (logical) called "Last modified date" but would like to [Quoted] name it in DE (physical) "lst_mod_dt". Is there a place to make the association so that in later generations, DDT doesn't try to overwrite my changes or add new columns?
