Oracle Job Submission Package

Has anyone ever developed an Oracle submission package that uses DBMS_JOB.SUBMIT. I have searched through the internet for an answer on how to abort executing jobs on the SNP processes. I can find the BROKEN command but it only works on queued jobs.

Is there a PL/SQL command to abort execution of a procedure? I am looking at other alternatives ans one is to abort the job in midstream.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
