I would like to add:

Use a common %ORACLE_BASE% - on a partition that is large enough for all of your binaries (and Docs)
Its not a show stopper, but a good practice.

e.g

D:\Oracle\

	Ora73\		-- HOME0
	Ora81\		-- HOME1
	.
	.
	.
