Call to determine Citrix Client Machine Name

Does anyone know of a call that I can write into a form that is running on a Citrix Server to determine the client machine name at startup? I tried looking at the v$session view, but that shows a "virtual client" machine name, and not the machine name of the workstation that is using the Citrix Client.

The importance of the machine name is that each machine is given a unique ID on login based on a file on their local drive. The Citrix Server remaps drive to the client so we can see that file and read the terminal#. (This is used for Cash Drawer closeout/transaction tracking by terminal). SO....

How could we achieve the same effect with a form that is started on the WEB...*OR* running under Windows Terminal Server w/o having Citrix or being able to map back to the client directories???

Thanks for any help!! Received on Fri Dec 22 2000 - 04:23:09 CET
