Both are sqlnet issues, *not* OO4O issues. Depending on how you define 'trusted', Oracle has a product called Advanced Networking Option. This allows for all encryption and compressing etc. It comes with the Enterprise Edition *only*. As said earlier, this is not a feature of OO4O.
Your second question:
This feature is commonly referred to as 'OS authenticated users'. AFAIK you need to add the following line to
sqlnet.ora on the client

sqlnet.authentication_services=(NTS)
