cpp suffix from proc*c/c++

[Quoted] I am trying to get pro*c/c++ version 8.1.5.0.0 to produce files with the cpp [Quoted] suffix. In the options window I select CPP as the code type, and cpp as the [Quoted] cpp suffix. However, no matter what suffix I choose, the suffix I get is .c [Quoted] (even when I request .cc).
Is there somehting else I should be doing, or is this a bug?
