I tried WebDB 2.2 didn’t care for it much, I would go for Portal 3. However if you insist, then do a manual install of WebDB (anything done well in WebDB is done manually, get uses to it).

WebDB have some ok feature, for the most party aye candy only. There are severe limitations in form and report flexibility. You can’t do anything professionally without having to manually program it all (witch in my opinion, defeats the purpose).

I hope Portal is better, it certainly look more promising regarding flexibility, if for no other reason, then because you can use almost all other Internet applications in Portals port lets (with the proper API of cause).
