Mixing v7 ODBC and v8i Client

[Quoted] [Quoted] I need to have an install of Oracle's v7 ODBC software and an 8i Client install on the same Windows machine. The v7 install complains about the 8i Client being in the path.
Does anybody have v7 and 8i client software on the same box? What are the problems and how do I avoid them?
