SQLnet across Firewall

Hi,
I need to have a SQLnet connection from the DMZ to the Database server in the secure zone. Presently I find that I get a TNS refuse from the Database Server for the TNS connect from the Server in the DMZ zone. If I move the server from the DMZ zone to the Intranet Zone it works fine.
Any help would be most useful.
