OEM can't authenticate to Linux

When trying to run a job in OEM we get the error VNI-2015: authentication error. We're trying to admininster two databases with OEM. One is on an NT machine, that one works fine. The other is on a Linux server box, it refuses to cooperate.
We have tried making the database, node, OS user all the same name and password as the user in the PDC. Is OEM trying to authenticate through PDC? HELP!!!!
