Passing parameters to stored procedure

I am working on a stored procedure that receives a variable number of parameteres from one transaction to another, via a web page. A table is updated based on the parameters passed to the stored procedure. My question is how would I go about coding this in the stored procedure?

The number of parameters being passed ranges from 2 to 200 depending on the actions being performed on the web page. The obvious but tedious and code-intensive way is to declare 200 parameters as default null and check for not null. However, this would result in an inordinate amount of processing.
