    The claims from Oracle can be pretty broad. Some of their newer products do a fair amount of the work. But I think it's safe to say there is no product that will do it all for you. You will have to learn some SQL, PL/SQL, Net8 and Database Administration to do anything useful. On the other hand if there is no help coming from IS because they a) are mean or b) are too busy, then why not get Oracle and start to learn some things on an NT PC. You can get any edition of Oracle for the same price from Oracle ($39.95?) so might as well load up the Enterprise Edition.

    And while it would be unfair to ask IS to rewrite your unsanctioned project, it's perfectly fair to ask someone a specific question after you've tried these newsgroups.
