Saving output of Reports to an html file

We are using Reports 6.0

Some of our users would like to the output of some of their oracle reports as html. They should be able to use the File-->Generate As-->HTML or HTML Style Sheet option. When they do this however, the report comes up blank.

The reports are called from Forms. Some reports have parameters passed in from the forms a others just use a parameter form on the reports side. The output defaults to the screen. Users can then print the output or save it to a file.

I noticed that on report that only use reports side parameters forms I CAN save them as HTML. On reports that have paramters passed in from and oracle form I get a blank page when I try to save the output to a file.

It looks like when you generate to a file the report runs again without any of the parameters that were passed in. This would explain why the file comes up blank.

Is there a way to have reports retain the parameters that were passed in

when generating the output to a file?

The funny thing is that when the original developer runs the same report

from her PC and generates the output to an HTML file it comes out ok.
